Position: Project Officer (Nasser Hospital - Based)
Type: Full-time (10 Months Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: South of Gaza, Palestine
Salary: ILS110,508 Yearly

MAP is seeking a Project Officer (Nasser Hospital - Based), who will be responsible for overseeing and standardizing the work of medical activity supervisors to ensure high-quality health service delivery in alignment with Ministry of Health (MoH) protocols.
This role supports the implementation of infection prevention and control measures, strengthens referral mechanisms, and leads training initiatives for medical staff. Additionally, the Project Officer monitors program performance, develops reports to inform decision-making, and provides recommendations for service improvements. Engaging with key stakeholders, representing the organization in strategic discussions, and supporting program visibility and communication efforts, will also be key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional holding a medical or healthcare-related degree, with a master’s in health management or public health as an asset. They have experience in medical project coordination or supervision, strong knowledge of hospital operations, emergency protocols, and MoH guidelines, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders. Skilled in data analysis, M&E tools, and beneficiary feedback mechanisms, they also possess strong leadership, planning, and communication skills in both English and Arabic.
