Helpdesk officer is a person who is expected to be on site in the kitchen's locations, where he/she will be visible to beneficiaries, and can and will provide Technical and informational aid to the people of the community.
Help Desk Job Responsibilities:
- Provides technical support to beneficiaries by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation and LAN performance.
- Provides answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps.
- Improves beneficiaries' references by writing and maintaining documentation.
- Accommodates beneficiaries' disabilities by recommending devices and techniques.
- Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements.
- Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
- Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Help Desk Qualifications / Skills:

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in computer science, network administration, or computer programming, or business administration or equivalent
- Prior information technology or systems administration experience preferred
- Familiarity with telephone, office, and point-of-sale software a plus
- At least 2 years' experience in a related field.
