Helpdesk officer is a person who is expected to be on site in the kitchen's locations, where he/she will be visible to beneficiaries, and can and will provide Technical and informational aid to the people of the community.

Help Desk Job Responsibilities:


  1. Provides technical support to beneficiaries by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation and LAN performance.
  2. Provides answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps.
  3. Improves beneficiaries' references by writing and maintaining documentation.
  4. Accommodates beneficiaries' disabilities by recommending devices and techniques.
  5. Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements.
  6. Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
  7. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
  8. Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Education and Experience:


  1. Bachelor degree in computer science, network administration, or computer programming, or business administration or equivalent
  2. Prior information technology or systems administration experience preferred
  3. Familiarity with telephone, office, and point-of-sale software a plus
  4. At least 2 years' experience in a related field.
