Job Title: MEAL Assistant (Middle & South Gaza)
Job location: Palestine, Gaza (on-site)
Reports to: MEAL Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
A university degree or diploma in Public Health, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field.
Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in MEAL, data collection, or related functions, preferably within a humanitarian or NGO context.
Basic understanding of MEAL concepts, tools, and practices, including monitoring frameworks and accountability standards.
Familiarity with digital data collection platforms such as KoboToolbox, ODK, or similar.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and professional email communication.
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Previous experience working with international NGOs, UN agencies, local partners, or authorities, especially in displacement or emergency settings.
Hands-on experience in both quantitative and qualitative data collection and basic analysis techniques.
Demonstrated motivation, adaptability, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to fieldwork.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability and willingness to work in challenging field conditions with flexibility and professionalism.

Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is required.
