1: Child Protection Case Management Supervisor (1 Position, Gaza) 

Key Responsibilities


Supervise and support Child Protection Case Managers in their work with at-risk children and families.

Ensure that all registered children receive comprehensive assessments and case plans in line with SOPs.

Conduct regular case review meetings, conferences, and one-to-one discussions with Case Managers and partner teams.

Monitor quality of case management services through field visits, case reviews, and feedback mechanisms.

Maintain and regularly update service maps and referral pathways for children and families.

Ensure timely referrals of cases to appropriate services based on assessment and case plan.

Lead coordination with partners, child protection actors, and disability-focused technical groups.

Report immediately on children at extreme risk to relevant authorities (MOSD, UNICEF) and ensure urgent response.

Provide technical input and capacity building for case management, psychosocial support, and inclusive protection.

Develop weekly/monthly work plans and reports for the Project Coordinator and relevant working groups.

Support, mentor, and train Case Managers and stakeholders to strengthen inclusive child protection responses.

Ensure strict adherence to child safeguarding, disability inclusion, confidentiality, and SHS policies.

Qualifications and Experience


Master’s degree in Social Work with 3–5 years of case management experience, OR Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience.

Strong experience supervising case management teams or working with at-risk children, families, and caregivers.

Proven knowledge of child rights, child protection, psychosocial support, and disability inclusion.

Demonstrated experience in supervision, capacity building, and mentoring staff.

Familiarity with the context of persons with disabilities in Gaza is highly desirable.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Office.

Previous NGO experience, preferably with SHS or UNICEF-supported programs, is an asset.

2: Child Protection Case Manager ( 4 Positions)


Key Responsibilities


Identify and register children at risk, including children with disabilities.

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop case plans in line with SOPs and within risk-based timelines.

Ensure timely referrals to appropriate services and maintain updated service maps and functional referral pathways.

Provide psychosocial support to children, adolescents, and caregivers, and strengthen parenting skills.

Collaborate with community leaders, mechanisms, parents, and youth to promote community-based child protection.

Maintain accurate, confidential, and complete case files, ensuring data entry in the SHS database.

Prepare weekly and monthly work plans, and contribute to regular reporting on child protection activities.

Report urgent and high-risk cases immediately to the Case Management Supervisor and ensure swift response.

Participate in coordination meetings on child protection and case management.

Provide training, mentoring, and technical input to relevant stakeholders to improve child protection responses.

Strictly adhere to SHS safeguarding, child protection, and disability inclusion policies.

 


Qualifications and Experience


Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, or related social sciences.

Minimum 2 years of experience in case management and/or working with children at risk, families, and caregivers.

Strong knowledge of child rights, child protection, case management, psychosocial support, and youth development.

Experience in psychosocial support, family counseling, and referrals.

Previous experience with NGOs, particularly with SHS or similar child protection organizations, preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with community leaders, children, youth, and partners.

Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Office.
