Job Title: HR SPECIALIST
Job location: Gaza Office (On-site)
Reports to: Palestine Country Representative with technical reporting to Global HR & Admin Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The HR Specialist is expected to lead key HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compliance, and staff development. The HR Specialist will oversee daily HR operations, support strategic planning, and ensure adherence to labor laws and organizational policies. This role also contributes to system transitions and employee engagement, serving as a core member of the Gaza HR team.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in a human resources role, with proven supervisory experience with international organization and local organization as well.
Strong understanding of Palestinian labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent leadership, mentorship skills, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, demonstrating a sense of urgency, and excellent follow-up, and to work independently and with confidentiality
Energetic and enthusiastic about work and new challenges and able to learn quickly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
Problem solving skills to mediate in conflicts and find effective solutions to various HR related issues.
Decision-making skills to make crucial HR decisions that align with the strategic goals of the organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
