Job Title: Resource Mobilization and Fundraising Coordinator - (full time)
Reports to: Executive Director of the NECCCRW
Job Grade: According to the organizational structure
Near East Council of Churches Committee for Refugees Work (NECCCRW) - the Gaza Area Committee is part of the Department of Service to the Palestine Refugees (DSPR). The DSPR is a department of the Middle East Council of Churches. NECCCRW Gaza is an integral part of the Palestinian society and culture and operates with support from churches, ecumenical and secular organizations. NECCCRW Gaza Committee was founded in 1952 launching a humanitarian program to assist Palestinians who took refuge in the Gaza Strip following the establishment of Israel in 1948. NECCCRW has focused then on the provision of humanitarian aid and contributing to an overall improvement in living conditions and to poverty alleviation.
Its work has rested on respecting the humanity and dignity of those whom it helps and on adherence to clear transparency and accountability standards. NECC supports the Palestinian people through six key areas:
- Health (Maternal and Child Primary Health Care)
- Technical Vocational Education and training (Empowering Youth Economic Status)
- Educational Loans for university students
- Psychosocial Support for children, mothers, and students to cope with the negative impact of Gaza violence
- Emergency Relief projects including cash relief and job creation initiatives
- Advocacy policies and community development programs

General Duties:
Manage all tasks related to project proposal development, fundraising, and resource mobilization necessary to achieve the strategic goals and mission of the organization.
Specific Duties:
- Participate in the development of the Committee's strategic plan and the preparation and follow-up of the department’s implementation plan.
- Supervise and contribute to the preparation of the NECC resource mobilization and fundraising strategy, in coordination with program managers.
- Research and identify funding opportunities and potential relationships locally and internationally.
- Communicate with donors and stakeholders involved in the NECC projects and services.
- Prepare reports and provide data and information related to the department to the Executive Director.
- Determine the material and human resource needs of the department.
- Write project proposals in accordance with donor requirements and aligned with the NECC strategic plan.
- Participate in preparing project implementation plans and follow up on their execution in coordination with program managers and project coordinators.
- Network with local, regional, and international institutions to sign cooperation agreements and mobilize support and collaboration.
- Supervise the implementation of laws, regulations, and instructions issued by the NECC Executive Director.
- Participate in developing the NECC emergency plan.
- Document lessons learned and success stories.
- Write departmental reports, including monthly, semi-annual, and annual reports.
- Build networking and cooperation relationships with relevant institutions and sign cooperation agreements to support the NECC strategic objectives.
- Coordinate and network with other departments and programs within the NECC to ensure integration and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct training on relevant topics upon request.
- Represent the NECC and its activities positively and professionally at all times.
- Participate in capacity-building training for NECC staff.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Executive Director.
- Commitment to the organization’s policies and code of conduct.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration, English Language, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred.
Previous Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience in project management, proposal writing, and fundraising within non-profit organizations.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in using computer applications.
- Excellent command of English (speaking, writing, and reading).
- Effective communication, writing, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
- Public speaking and presentation skills.
- Report writing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
