VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Project Coordinator – Ramallah
The Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network (PNGO) in the Gaza Strip is looking to hire a Project Coordinator for its: PAL10, Project # 102675 “Transparency, Evidence, Efficiency, Effectiveness, and Accountability (TEA³) Program. This project seeks to strengthen the role of civil society in Palestine at two levels: the Sectoral level by strengthening the representation of civil society organizations within the PNGO sectors, expanding these sectors, improving their advocacy capacity, influencing policies, and building the capacity of smaller organizations. And the National level by strengthening the Civil Work Coordination Council (CWCC), expanding its membership, improving coordination with the Palestinian NGO Network sectors, and making it a key representative body for civil society. The main objective of these efforts is to enhance civil society representation and accountability in general.
The successful candidate for this position will be contracted for eight months (3 three-month proportional periods). They will be responsible for the following duties:
- Ensure all activities are implemented in accordance with the project action plan.
- Produce midterm and final reports, as well as any updates on each activity, achievement, and constraint faced during the project period.
- Monitor project outcomes and ensure all activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with the PNGO's different sectors, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure better management and effective implementation of the project plan.
- Maintain project excellence and quality standards in a manner consistent with the organization’s guiding principles, mission, and vision.
- Offer financial monitoring to ensure compliance with the approved financial procedures.
- Prepare and submit the required reports and other requirements in line with the approved deadlines and formats.
- Conduct field visits/assessments to ensure the project’s initiatives are implemented properly and achieve the desired outcomes.
- Compile, maintain, and document project-related reports, daily work records, and other relevant documents.

Professional Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, social sciences, or any other related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management and budget monitoring.
- Excellent English and Arabic language skills.
- Familiarity with the aid sector, international humanitarian issues, including the humanitarian clusters and key actors, is essential. Knowledge of the Grand Bargain Commitments and the Localization Agenda is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask effectively as well as display professionalism and confidence.
- Ability to plan and coordinate the most effective use of staff, facilities, and resources to achieve successful project objectives.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently and cope with stress.
- Good knowledge of word processing and Microsoft Office programs.
