JOB SUMMARY
The Field Nutrition Program Assistant will support the implementation of nutrition activities at the field level, with a focus on ensuring effective logistical coordination, tracking of supplies and stock, and administrative follow-up. The assistant will play a key role in supporting the smooth functioning of day-to-day field operations and liaising with logistics, procurement, and other support departments to ensure that program needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with the logistics department to receive all supplies related to the nutrition program.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of supplies based on program needs.
- Maintain and update daily records for the receipt of supplies from the warehouse.
- Track procurement requests related to the nutrition program and follow up with concerned departments for timely delivery.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
- Support implementation of logistical planning for nutrition field activities, including transportation and distribution of supplies.
- Assist in the preparation of field distribution plans, supply lists, and movement requests.
- Carry out field tasks and errands as assigned by the direct supervisor.
- Support the organization and documentation of meetings, trainings, and nutrition-related events.
- Ensure adherence to program timelines and deadlines by supporting the field teams as needed.
- Submit stock reports and other related reports in a timely manner

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A diploma degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in administrative or logistics roles, preferably in humanitarian nutrition programs.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with supply chain procedures and stock management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
- Basic understanding of logistics and procurement procedures.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving mindset.
- Adaptability and willingness to work in remote or emergency settings.
